CALL FOR PAPERS

Special Issue on
Intellectual Property, Innovation, Marketing and Finance: Emerging Interdisciplinary Perspectives in the Digital Economy

The Intellectual Property Journal (I.P.J) invites original and high-quality research contributions for a forthcoming Special Issue entitled “Intellectual Property, Innovation, Marketing and Finance: Emerging Interdisciplinary Perspectives in the Digital Economy.”
The Special Issue seeks to provide an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, policymakers, and scholars to examine the evolving relationship between Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), innovation, marketing, economics, and finance in an increasingly digital, knowledge-driven, and innovation-oriented global economy.
As businesses increasingly depend on intangible assets, intellectual property has moved beyond its traditional role as a mechanism for protecting inventions, creative works, brands, and technological developments. Patents, trademarks, copyrights, industrial designs, trade secrets, and other forms of intellectual property increasingly influence firm valuation, investment decisions, innovation performance, competitive advantage, brand equity, consumer behaviour, entrepreneurship, technology commercialization, financing decisions, and economic growth.
This Special Issue therefore encourages interdisciplinary research that explores how intellectual property interacts with markets, financial systems, innovation ecosystems, and digital technologies to facilitate the creation, protection, commercialization, and capture of economic and social value.

Scope of the Special Issue
The Special Issue welcomes theoretical, empirical, conceptual, methodological, case-based, systematic literature review, and policy-oriented contributions addressing contemporary issues at the intersection of intellectual property, innovation, marketing, economics, and finance.
Potential areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
● Intellectual Property and Innovation
● Marketing and Consumer Behaviour
● Intellectual Property and Finance
● Digital Economy and Emerging Technologies
● Economics, Policy and Global Perspectives
The Special Issue is intentionally interdisciplinary and welcomes studies that connect law, management, marketing, economics, finance, innovation, entrepreneurship, technology, and public policy.
